General Terms and Conditions
Age for treatment: Please note that all clients must be aged 18 and over. Under 18’s may be accepted at the discretion of the therapist and must be chaperoned.
Consultation: At your first appointment you will be asked to complete a medical form and questionnaire. This is beneficial for both client and therapist to have an informal chat about the treatments on offer, identify any contra-indications and establish expectations.
Special requirements: Massage treatments are carried out subject to the initial completion of a medical form and updated treatment records thereafter. If you suffer from certain medical conditions you may be required to seek the permission of your GP prior to your treatment. If you do not let your therapist know of any special medical conditions at the time of booking it cannot be guaranteed that you will be fully accommodated on your visit. If you have any concerns please don’t hesitate to ask your therapist or GP.
Booking policy: The Massage Barn provides a service for women only. Bookings should be made where possible on the online booking system. Please only contact your therapist on 07473560060 if you have an enquiry. New clients must be aware that your booking is not officially confirmed until your medical details have been assessed. This will be confirmed during the consultation. You may be contacted by phone or email if GP consent is pending and more information is needed before booking can take place.
Payment policy: At the time of booking you will be taken to the online PayPal payment and asked to pay the full treatment price. Any extra charges or gift card purchases can be accepted by cash or card transaction on the day of your appointment.
Pricing policy: All pricing is subject to change.
Special offers: If you are in receipt of a promotional offer, please email your therapist at: firstname.lastname@example.org or contact on 07473560060 requesting a booking. You will then be able to pay the discounted rate by cash or card transaction at your appointment. Booking and cancellation policies remain the same.
Gift Cards: Gift cards cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. They are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Recipients of gift cards, please email: email@example.com or contact on 07473560060 requesting a booking and quoting your voucher code. If for any reason massage cannot go ahead because of contra-indications, you may give your gift card to someone else. Booking and cancellation policies remain the same.
Loyalty cards: Collect your stamps at each visit to receive your 6th visit free. This card cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Recipients of Loyalty Cards on the 6th free visit, please email the therapist at: firstname.lastname@example.org or contact on 07473560060 requesting a booking. Booking and cancellation policies remain the same.
Cancellation policy: Please arrive on time for your appointment. A full refund is only given for good reason and if your booking is cancelled at least 48 hours in advance. If a booking is made within the 48 hour cancellation period a refund is not given unless there are exceptional circumstances. Full fees are payable for non attendance. Unforeseen circumstances may result in appointments being postponed at short notice by the therapist and in the event that a rescheduled appointment date or time is unsuitable, a full refund will be given.
Data protection: The information you provide on this website and to your therapist is protected in accordance with the data protection act 2018. Personal details are confidential and not passed on to any third parties.
The Massage Barn reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions from time to time by posting new terms and conditions on this website.
